Willet or Won'tit?

Several weeks on this blog, I identified a bird like this as a Sanderling. At a recent Venice Camera Club meeting, a member pointed out that this is larger than a Sanderling, and is a Willet.



No doubt hundreds of people are aghast at this faux pas. :-)
