Night Blooming Cereus

These cactus-like plants bloom only at night, and each individual bloom only LASTS one night.



They are pretty spectacular.

Some things don't change (much). Daytona Beach looks a lot like it did when I was in college - several years ago.

This stretch is off limits to cars, but the tracks of service vehicles are in the foreground. Autos do roam much of the beach away from the pier.

This is south Miami as seen from Key Biscayne.

I like how the sun's rays light up the upper deck of clouds. I don't think that the waterskier noticed.
