Ahhh...
Anhingas make good subjects. They are not pretty. I do not want a picture of one on my living room wall. But, they stay still, and that counts for a lot.
Anhingas seem to like to sun themselves. But it was cloudy. Well, who knows.

What a great shot. They always seem to be in the bushes when I photograph them and do they ever blend in.
I agree with Fred, these guys are tough to photo. Nice capture...
I think the birds are drying their wings after being underwater so long. Your right they are very hard to shoot because you can't get close to them. EB
