Fernandina Beach is a compilation of industry (pulp mill, NOT photographed), commercial fishing, and recreational boating.
The shrimping industry is alive and well along the southeast coast, and Fernandina Beach does its part. Hard to imagine how these boats turn a profit when diesel fuel gets to $4/gal.
