The Failure (#599)

Sometimes I just fail to express my vision in a photograph. Here I had planned to Have the Great Blue Heron very sharp, with the Anhinga in the background, out of focus.

But, even at f2.8 the Anhinga is almost in focus; it looks like I tried to get him sharp and missed. The birds were just too close together.

Oh well, next time.
